How about jeans sizes

The jeans sizes are noted in inches. The first number refers to the waist size, in this case 32 which is equivalent to 81.3 cm. The second number is the length size, size 36. In centimeters this is 91.4 cm. Length size 36 is usually for the tall man with an above average height from 1.95 meters.

How do you measure yourself

You do this with a tape measure. Measure your hips, waist and thighs with this. Don't forget to measure the length of your inner legs. Have you measured everything? Then consult the size chart for the correct size. The circumference of your thigh is particularly important when buying a skinny-fit jeans or slim-fit jeans.

You recognize the width size by the first number of the size combination. So with jeans that is 32/36. A width size is based on a waist size.

Measuring your length size is easy! Get a tape measure and measure from your crotch to the place where you want the trouser leg to sit. Consult a size chart to ultimately determine your trouser length.
