Polyester Shirts

Due to rising raw material prices, people have been looking for alternatives to keep the price down. One of the raw materials found was polyester. Although the fabric initially appeared very cheap, it has greatly improved now.

100% Polyester is not often seen in men's fashion. It is commonly combined with fabrics such as wool, cotton or linen. Using polyester makes the fabric stronger, so less expensive raw material has to be used.

Advantages of polyester in your shirt

Besides being a bit cheaper, polyester is shape-retaining. This is especially nice with loosely woven fabrics like linen. You always have a tight, well-fitting shirt.

However, on hot days, a shirt with polyester feels warmer than a 100% natural shirt.
